Today was a VERY productive day. You know, it sometimes seems that you think you can be right there when that "momumental moment" happens. Jeffrey had many visitors today, and Keul, Shelia and Keith, Jonathon and Makayla, I AM SORRY you ...missed it. But stay tuned I HAVE VIDEO!!! COMING TOMORROW...

After ya'll left, we took turns visiting, about 1/2 and 1/2 at a time. Sharon was in there, and was getting ready to leave, after Debbie and Paul had already said bye. Well, Jeffrey waved GREAT big at Sharon, and gave her a great big grin. Well, what do you think she did, but went right out in the waiting room, and told Debbie and Paul, and back they came...(I knew they would) but I was armed with the camera, and used the video portion of it. 35 seconds later after a perfect "re-make", I have a PRICELESS video!

After everyone was gone, it was just me, jeffrey, kristen and Meagan....I decided before the moment passed, I needed to call Kevin. Kevin answered, and I asked him what he was doing, He said they had been playing in the snow. I said, well, you need to come on to the hospital, if you can. Probably temporarily scaring him. I kinda put it like this then. Look you need to come to the hospital if you can, because if you don't you're going to miss this "do-do eating grin on jeffrey's face. He immediately came within 15 minutes. AS SOON as he walked in, Jeffrey started grinning. And again, a great re-make...again. never boring any of us. Just as funny the first time, as it was the second time and third time!!! (I'm glad you took time out to come Kevin)

His respiratory therapist came in during this time, and said she was going to be "pulling Jeffrey's respirator machine out of the room later. They are not going to put him back on it. She should be downsizing the trach later this week, so maybe after having some "speech therapy" this week, he may be able to make a sound by the end of the week.

Physical Therapist will also come in tomorrow, and re evaluate him. He hasn't been seen, since day 2, so nothing was ordered...duh...he didn't need it at the time...but I think he is definetely ready for some now.

Well, I think that is all for tonight. I AM TIRED!!! I don't think I slept AT ALL last night. I stayed at the hospital all night, because of the roads....Greenville was ALOT worse than vanceboro/ernul !!!
