Well, you know what? I HATE a laptop. Your fingers get to moving and you accidentally hit something, and you erase what you just typed.....so, let's start again.

Just getting to the waiting room, and it's quiet in here, so it gives you a lit...tle bit to reflect.
Jeffrey's nurse that is on this morning said he had a good night, and that he only had one coughing spell. She said that the nurse on night shift had seen him "act" like he wanted to open his eyes. And she said that she had also finally gotten him to move his toes on command. She was giving him just a little bit of tylenol a minute ago, that his fever had been ok all night, and it was up just a little bit this morning.

The test results came back for the culture test that they ran a few day's ago for pneumonia, and it came back good. He doesn't have anything "growing" as they put it. She said his lungs sound good, but he has a little bit of "gunk" in them.

His respirator settings are still on what it was set on yesterday. The respirator therapist, during the night, tried to turn it down a little bit, but he just wasn't getting the good "deep" breaths he needed, so they put it back up to 12/5/30.

At this point and time everything is in God's Hand's. Jeffrey has been put through the wringer, and he just needs time to rest. He's still being sedated, but not with the same med's he was being administered the first part of the week. And he's receiving something for pain. As where he was "deeply" sedated earlier, he's just sedated now.

Yesterday he had one particular visitor that went in to see him, and when she said "Hey Jeffrey"....he lifted his right arm, as sometimes usually...but his hand went up and down up and down up and down, as if waving. Maybe he was.....Maybe he wasn't....But it comforts me in thinking that he was.

Well, just consider today a repeat of yesterday. I probably won't post anything extra, unless it's something significant. I am going to get off of here for a bit, and REST...I might even catch me some zzzzzzzzz's in this recliner...
